CULINARY enthusiasts with a passion for cream-based recipes will welcome the chance to join the Nestlé D’lite Cream Recipe Challenge, a digital competition in which you are invited to submit your own original recipes online, with winners to be selected at a tasting competition to be held at the Julius Maggi Kitchen at the Nestlé Center.

Nestlé D’lite Cream is a healthy, delicious, soya-based cream with zero Trans Fat and zero Lactose that now allows savory dishes to be enjoyed, guilt-free.

Prizes awaiting each winner of the Nestlé D’lite Cream Recipe Challenge are: (1) a free special culinary course to be conducted over five Saturday mornings by chefs of the prestigious Culinary Arts School of Enderun Colleges on McKinley Hill in Fort Bonifacio; and (2) a themed dinner for two worth Php 5,000 hosted by well-known Chef JJ Yulo of Pinoy Eats World.

To join the competition, simply "Like" the Nestlé Cream fan page on Facebook to access the contest app. Then click the "Submit Recipe" button and send your recipe entry, with a photo of your actual dish. There are six food categories to choose from: poultry, pork/beef, seafood, vegetarian, soup/spread/dip, and pasta. Contestants may submit their recipes under more than one category. The main ingredient for each recipe must be Nestlé D’lite Cream. Each recipe must have ingredients that are well-measured, and the procedures crystal-clear. Visitors to the website will vote for entries. The finalists will be the top two entries in each category for the duration of the contest.

Criteria for judging are the following: Originality (recipe is creative and uncommon) – 30%; Taste/Palatability (tastiness of recipe) – 30%; Presentation (visual appeal of recipe as finished product) – 20%; Ease of Preparation – 20%.

Each contestant must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the Philippines for at least a year at the time of entry. For more details, visit the Nestlé Cream fan page on Facebook.
